#91589, "Automotive paint: How long does it last?"
I know what you guys are thinking. I'm not talking about a factory automotive finish or something of that nature but rather the actual paint in a can that has yet to be used. I bought some paint (ppg) last summer and I have enough left over from the last time I sprayed my car to do it over again next summer. Will the paint still be good? Im assuming that as long as its in a sealed airtight container I've got nothing to worry about but it isnt like normal paint though; It has a lot of chemicals and junk in it. Do those break down over time and reduce the effectiveness of the paint? I searched yahoo and didnt discover anything "concrete". Thank you for your time.

haha thanks Terry but I've been storing it in the house since last August. I promise this one will look nicer...still have a lot of wet sanding to do though!
