Anyone who has bought projectors from ebay, did you guys get your headlights lined up correctly for the beam onto the road? My little bubble thingy behind the housing is reading way high and it wont let me adjust it any other way. Its been like for a year and just got around to trying to fix it. Any help here?

I had some aftermarket projectors and that bubble doesn't do shit. The usual adjustment gear on them is just for looks. You have to adjust screws on the backside of the housing to adjust anything. Another reason why projectors are gay.

Furthermore, I traded my projectors to josemex in Florida for a set of stockers. A week after he installed them, someone pulled out in front of him, he broadsided them, and totalled out his car. You see? Even GOD hates rice. emoji

My projectors are decent and I don't think they are too ricy (no halo around the projector lense). But they were the only exterior thing that survived the wreck with out some kind of damage lol. thinking about doing the HID conversion but I'm not really sure what is involved in doing that and from what I have read it's not all that fun.

so am i, I couldn't get the projectors to level out and didn't really bother fighting with them so when my headlights are on w/low beams they are angled up a bit, one side more than the other. I can always see the difference when my lights are on and i'm facing a wall or something. anyways because their not level their range is farther than its supposed to be so i don't really use the high beams as much

I bought my halo projectors on ebay and they are much nicer then stock and lined up perfectly when I installed them. Here are the ones i purchased: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-99-MIT-ECLIPSE-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-JDM-BLACK_W0QQitemZ8023318201QQcategoryZ33710QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
They look incredible and do not haze up like the stock ones. They are NOT rice, and people need to stop using the word rice for everything they dont like.

The stock ones haze up on the inside because people are not careful with the caps that seal the moisture out. They haze up on the outside because, over time, use of substandard cleaning agents and road debris breaks down the protective coating on the surface of the lens.

They are NOT rice,

They are rice. Usually part of a mis-matched side skirt/front clip package with wing to go. Biggie sized, of course.

People need to stop getting all bent out of shape when other people share their opinion on exterior mods. Remember 9D9...

I had them in a chrome housing as well. They sucked shit. Glad they're gone. If I got another set, it would only be so I could take them apart and retro some HIDs and real projectors into the housing, but I have two sets of spare stock headlights lying around that I could use. None of that weaksauce foglight bulb shit for me.

Enjoy your new lights. Have fun aiming that Hong Kong shit.

I dont know how you guys are installing them or if there are 2 different companies that make the same style light, but mine installed very easily and shine straight ahead. I have the black housing ones, I think the chrome ones look tacky.

as far as the fading/yellowing you get on the outside of your
headlights.. that can be fixed... all you need to do is
lightly scuff the housing and put a coat of clear coat on it
and they'll look brand new. As far as those bomb effect
projectors... i ordered a set of em in chrome housing to match
the tails.. but they havent come in yet.. once i get em
mounted up ill post and let you know if i got them to aim
right.
