Yup...finally is happening to me. DOH! My sunroof is sticking or my button wont make it close OR open sometimes. I jess wait a few minutes...then try again...then it works just fine. So hmmmmm Any ideas on what to take apart and regrease? Cause I noticed when i first bought the car there was thickass grease inside there...and i notice, naturally now with age of the car...the grease is gone. So I'm thinking if I catch this early enough and clean it up real good I can fix the problem before I break my shiet. Advice? emoji

Same prob here.. Havent had it happen opening it, but closing it I have had it act up. Actually, it is like the button is fxcked up cause you cant hear the gears or anything.. wait a few secs, try it again and all is fine...

Mine got stuck and it wouldn't close all the way. here is how you take it apart:

open your sun roof (thats if ya can, cause you have to) and loosen the 6 screws, 3 on each side with an allen wrench. it will come out that easy. Clean everything throughly and regrease it. Same procedure to put back on and Whala!!!! (well at least it worked for me) hope it works bro..latez

i've had the screws tightened twice now. but it keeps getting loose. it is a pain because i do not have the tool to tighten it myself.

hey go to the local plumbing or hardware store and ask for some leak lock. It is blue. Put a little on the tops of the screws and they won't come loose.

Loctite from any auto part store will cure it too. Just make sure you don't get the permanant stuff! LOL! You may need to take it off one day! emoji
