Just ordered the power windows kit from autoloc for $90 shipped. Took me about 3 hours to install.. Sounds long, but I took my door off to make it a cleaner install.

Thats the stock door panel, nothing special. Hopefully I dont need to show how to take it off.

Theres the motor for the power windows mounted (above is the power door lock install I did a while back.) I didn't need to use any special hangers or brackets included, it reaches just perfect.

Heres a pic of the wiring, yah, the big mess of butt connectors is from the power door locks. It needs cleanin, I'm gonna throw in some black loom to cover.

Here I just traced the switch for the power window, looked like a good place to mount it.

Another great idea from a smart ass friend, heat up the blade and it cuts through the door panel like butter.

The final product, I'm gonna go fiberglass some door panels, that piece sticks out, just not as annoying as the old crank. I'm gonna fiberglass a door panel and slap a tweeter right there or something.

Anyways, after 3 hours of work and only 8 butt connectors, everything else was included, even a free relay to speed up and make it cleaner. It was well worth the money.

The autoloc kit has caps, its just the thing sticks out a good 1/4-1/2 inch and the cap was meant to clip in the hole in the door, so yah. That sucks there, but its still nice not having to lean over to roll down the window.

There is no way of cutting the thing shorter so you can get the cap on?
Also do your windows go up and down at a decent speed?

Well..... I figure it this way, your chances are gonna be 50/50 on any aftermarket kit being 'livable' aka good on our cars. Mostly cuz of the crank sticking so far out w/ teeth @ tip, and the fact that it's still a crank & will be MUCH slower and noisier when compared to stock.

SOooooooooooooooooooooooo, I'd say just bite the bullet & take some time to try & find some stock doors w/ powered windows in a junkyard or online. The 1x touch all-the-way-down is also nice emoji

I shaved my door handles @ the same time. As impressed as I was w/ the shaved handles (VERY kewl), it was severely countered by how sh*tty the windows came out.

Just my own opinion on the subject, pleaz ignore or heed... up to you.

i did the factory pw swap and the only downfall is the price of door panels, well actually i came by grey ones cheap all day long but for a set of factory black power w/leather inserts i paid $500 and the tan/black weren't too far behind, and i didnt feel like having painted panels so that wasn't an option
