One of many mistakes (I) made was to "paint pieces" Unless you plan on going really custom and doing some fiberglass work just leave it alone, it looks tacky if you try to color scheme shit. Then again my pieces are still painted, I just want to change them really badly, lol if you decide to go white I'll swap you for your stock stuff.

I had the gray interior (not leather, but that doesn't really matter i guess) and I had dark green exterior... (stock color) and the guy before me had painted the vents, the things around the door handle (just the small peice), the thing around the guage cluster, and the plastic piece around the HVAC controls and HU... IMO it looked really good... not tacky at all... and most other people liked it... he had riced the car up with graphics and a fart can and stuff, but the interior was niceeee... imo
Do what YOU want. On this topic, some people will think it's nice, some people will call it rice, some people will say it's tacky, and some will say other stuff... it ALL comes down to what YOU want.

i dunno...painting peices certain colors does get tacky...but if you pick the right colors it can make all the diff in the world. the bad thing about the grey int cars (ESP 95-96) is there is just no damn contrast! its like a sea of grey's. as you can see, my car is the green, and i actually ended up accenting some peices with a silvery grey and it looks fantastic. it dosent look gawdy, it dosent make your eyes bleed like reds and yellows. to tell you the truth it almost looks factory. in your case..im not sure what color id go with since your ext is white. i have seen some nice black and white int setups...but white is another one of those colors that may wreak havoc on your eyes if its a DD. i would reccomend the same silvery grey i used...but im not sure how that would look with the color of the accents and the color of your car being similar but diff enough to clash. thats a toughy

I can not express how happy I am that my car has the black and gray interior. The all gray interior is a major eye sore. I don't see how you guys do it...

which is why i had to do SOMETHING to get rid of all the grey..or at least some of it. the accents do detract from the gobs and gobs of just...grey. went from rather bland to having a nice little "pop" to it. outwardly the eclipse is a stylish car but if you step into a stock interior..its kinda bleh. needs little improvements here and there.
