I really want to paint the center part between my tails, as well as the outer corners of the lights but didn't know if there were any rattle-can options? I also need to touch up the front bumper a little bit. Any ideas?

Take my advice on this.. Rattle can type paints like dupli-color will not work. Will not even come close to looking rite.. I could show you how ugly the back of my car looks rite now from trying to touch it up. I bet if you take it to a body shop they could do the tail light piece and prolly touch up your bumper or something for $100 or so.

I found a store by my house that sells any type of car paint in a can, they mix it and you pick it up the next day, really good match too, highly recommended if you want to save some cash and your bored.

Ryan Hes is a member here, and he sold me a can of that fresh-mix A52 silver paint. I used it on my sideskirt and didn't even clearcoat it, because it matches *nearly* perfect. I say *nearly* because no one can accurately match your car if its older (i have a 95) because the color fades slightly with time. but with 10 yrs of fade, i have to say, the A52 i got was as close as it gets, and super-cheap too.

do i get paid for that endorsement?

Hey there.

$35 shipped per can. It'll be a near identical match, I use it on all sorts of things on my car...and my car is also silver, color code #A52, which isn't easy to match.. Let me know and I can have a can on the way asap. And for others, I can match any car color code, not just silver.

AFAIK our silver doesn't need an additional clear coating. I think it's mixed in with the paint. Don't quote me on that though.
