I am fiberglassing my dash, and the matt doesn't cover the whole dash, so what do I do? How exactly do I go about using more than one sheet? Do I simply put them up next to each other as closly as possible?
Also, how do I go about cutting out for the vent areas, and tweeter areas on the dash, and how do I go around all the stuff on the front of the dash properly?

Max, I told you this already you goofball.
You can rip the matting apart and lay down piece by piece so you have enough to cover it, I would get some more anyway though so then its not lumpy.
Just tuck the matting in the areas for like the HVAC controls and shit and then when it hardends, just trim it away. For the Tweeters, just cover the hole, and then cut it back out.
Glassing is not fun, especially on your dash as this is your first time doing this stuff.
I told you to get something bigger than your dash panels, like a hatch cover or something to do first before you do your dash, just so you know what your about to be getting yourself into on this.
PAIN IN THE ASS, is the simplest 4 words I can give you on what your about to experience bro.

I swear I don't remember you saying anything about ripping the matt... maybe I was too tired... I should log my AIM convo's... I've already done a little glassing and stuff, and it turned out nicely... I haven't got it sanded completely yet, but I do have it pretty much done... I just wasn't sure about how the matt not be solid would affect it...
Anyways, to the other two... wtf?!? calm down guys... and just answer my question, or don't say anything. It's my first time, but why would I need someone to do it for me? How on earth does anyone learn anything like that?

You know you don't even have to glass it. You can have a shop clean it and ruff up the surface with an abrasive pad and some acetone to make sure the surface is oil free and apply a thick primer and then paint it and clear it. Wala...done and looks just like fiberglass.
Does it hold up you say...well a friend of mine in my car club did it over a year ago and its his daily driver and its still in mint condition.
One word of advice, cover it so the sun that comes through your dash will not heat it up and crack it. My word of advice.
This is the so called easy route, but it is also an effective and durable route as well.
Fiberglass is stronger IF you do it right.
So I just wanted to let you know all your options before you dive into a huge process....escpecially with Fiberglass.
