I have never worked with fiberglass before, and I'm starting my custom interior... right now im just going to do some small stuff to get used to glassing first, but I need to know what all safety percautions I need to take while working with the resin?

I know when you sand you HAVE to have a respirator and all that... cover your entire body and stuff...

What about with the resin... will it be bad if it gets on me? I don't need a respirator (think that's what they are called...) or anything do I?

let me reply two ways.....

safety guy way:
Yeah take percautions, wear anything that is recommended for what your using.

my way:

I like to wear rubber gloves like doctors wear. Not because I hate getting it on my skin or somehow its bad for me, but its just a pain in the ass trying to get it off.
As for a a respirator, unless your trapped with no venilation don't worry about it.( I like the free high from "prolonged" inhaling)that is my opinion, I have one, I don't use it unless im painting. I get resin on my skin all the time and nothing bad happens , depending on how sensitive your skin is you will react different. My only concern working with resin/bodyfiller or paint, don't eat it and don't get it in your eyes.

Alright, thanks... my skin isn't sensitive at all, so I don't guess I'll have any problems...
