Alright guys, here it is. I finished up the retro this weekend. Here are a couple of pics...

Headlight taken apart with old projector...


Headlight with no projector...


Difference between projectors (left is the stock one...right is the Valeo)


Bracket I had to fab up to make it fit with the headlight brackets...


Valeo ready to put in...


Valeo in the headlight..


And finally...THE RESULTS...

Noyce! emojiI love the start up od hids. It never gets old even after 4 months.

New Car:
2004 350z base, Nismo CAI, pioneer avic-n1 (dvd, cd, navi)



Old Car:
1998 GS with hrc stage 2, HID 6000k conversion kit, AEM UEGO wideband, sfmu, ml, prokits, Greddy warning gauges: egt, boost gauge, and oil pressure, apexi tt, haydans tranny cooler, costum dp, groundwires, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler
Boostin since Aug 03.

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!

wow, that projector really has a nice color offset. What kelvin bulb did you use? seems like it has a strong beam pattern

I used Osram 4300K bulbs. I'm still waiting for the color shift because the bulbs are brand new.

I actually almost went with valeos, very nice choice and nice install. Expect them to color shift after about 200 hours or so. Very nice though.

Holy crap. THose are bright. I really like the start-up. Perhaps do a start-up video with them on your car too. What was the total price for this project?

The color shift makes the bulbs a bit bluer, and the whole project was around 500-600 bucks.

thats nice. are there cutoffs in the new projectors?

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.
