I have an RS and it only has 3 modes for wipers. Has anyone ever added interval timed wipers ? What would it take to do this ? Can I just pick up the whole modual with new switch or is there a computer somehwere else controling it

I have an rs, But mine has intermitent wipers. As far as I know just take out the wiper switch on the steering column and put in the new one.

Actually it works just fine. You have to have the plug from a GS model with the switch. Then you solder the plug from the GS into the wiring harness on the RS and mount it. It's just the plugs that aren't compatible. I sold about 5 of these about 2 years ago.

the only way it would work is if the harness was simply off and on and the with had a computer in it to control it. It wouldnt work if the switch sends a signal somewhere else to time it and go on and off from there. So I need to know where "on and off" are switched.

That was my post. I would have worked had I got the same switch from the same year. Apperently I purchased a switch from a 97, it dodn't work on my 95v due to the plugs being completely different. There were pics and everything.

EDIT:
I read the post above, guess alls i need is the plug pat from the steering colomn then. all is not lost emoji
