What kind of tweeters are available for our cars? I'm looking to replace them, what would a good brand be and are our stock ones very good? I want to upgrade my sound system, but don't exactly know what stuff is good or what to look for. Please point me in the right direction. I need 2 6x9's, two door speakers (what size are those?) and 2 new tweeters if they need to be replaced, if the stock ones are good, then I'll just keep them. TIA.

Might get a better response in the Audio section better yet, a quick search can answer all this... I think you need to research yourself and ask yourself what you are looking for. Are you going for an all out system competition level or just some what of an upgrade from stock, how much do you want to spend, etc. Your front speakers can hold 6 1/2's with a decent depth ( have heard that can vary tho from what year your car is, comes with 5 1/4). For the tweeters im not positive but i think its 2 inches?, i know you can get R22 tweeters from Kicker for it. Good luck on you system bro

You know if you type 'tweeters" into the search you'll get abouta billion threads on the subject. This has been covered numerous times.

i use MB Quarts, but you prolly wont want to spend that much moola on just the tweets, people spend that much on their whole speaker setup, but then again, i have an SQ car

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.

Damn, I thought this was the audio forum, no wonder I didn't find shit on tweeters with the search button here. I usually always find what I'm looking for with the search button, I was wondering why nothing came up when I searched for tweeters. My bad, disreguard this post. Thanks fellas.
