Has anyone on here ever had a set of rims powdercoated before? If so did you ever have any type of issues with them and how long has it help up?

Powdercoating is more resistant to chipping and wear, but it is expensive as hell. A place I went to that had good prices wanted $300 per rim to do a gunmetal wheel with polished lip. Big process of masking things off and powdercoating what you want.

I don't want a polished lip, I just want to get the whole rim done in a color shade right between gold and bronze. So there will be no masking needed for mine, I just want the whole rim colored.

Just get an old oven and a powdercoater yourself. A decent powdercoater can be had for 150 dollars and it will provide endless hobbies.

I would but I just don't have 150 bucks on me.
