I finally got my car back a couple of days ago and me and my dad were going to install the exhaust you sold me tommorow. I was wondering what tools I need to do the install. Also, when I have to get my car smogged, do I take off the exhaust? Thanks

James

Hey, all you need are the sockets that fit the bolts that go on the rear quarter section of the exhaust. I'm not sure what size they are. Basically it's just two bolts, and make sure you reuse that gasket that goes in between the flange. It should bolt right up, and the hangers you just kinda have to wriggle around to get it to go into the rubber pieces on the car. You'll see once you look under the car. It should be really easy. As for smog, CA passed a law saying its legal to modify your exhaust as long as its under 95 db, so it should be legal. I had no probs passing at all.

Fusion, I wouldn't worry about getting a decibel test. There is a real specific way the CHP tests it, like 20 feet away, at a certain height etc. Almost NO ONE will have an exhaust louder than 95 db from 20 feet away...don't worry about it. Plus if a cop is gonnna give you a ticket, he'll give you one anyways, and then you have to go get tested to get it written off...
