The power mirror switch on my 99 Eclipse GS is dying on me (it's the one on the dash, not the door panel). Anybody know what the part number is for this? My dealer wants to charge me $160 but it's gotta be a $30 part, so he's hosing me on the labor!

Thanks

Keith

Keith. Don't let the dealer hose you on this. It takes a slotted screw driver and 30 seconds to replace the entire switch. Spending that kind of money to have the dealer replace it for you is a really bad way to start things off working on your car. emoji

Pull the switch out yourself and hold it in your hand while you get the mirrors where you want them. Then shop around for that switch. If you had posted this question two weeks ago, I would have just mailed you the switch for free. I had no use for it and tossed it. emoji

Thanks. If I could get the switch out of the dash, I'm sure I could replace it myself. I just can't get my hand back up there to squeeze the 2 tabs on the switch to pull it out from behind. Then I would imagine it's just a matter of pulling off the harness connector, replacing the switch, and pushing it back in from behind. It looks like I'll have to remove the lower dash panel to get access to the upper area where the switch is (?)
