i have a 95RS with no fogs. i just got a pair of stock fogs from some of the follow 2gnters and was wondering the easiest way to wire them up. since there is no harness on my car, i would just have to run/tap into some other wires. any suggestions? preferably one where they will turn on with the headlights. can i just run wire to wire with the fogs and headlights? help appreciated as always! tia!

thats one way you could do it, another is to run wires to the parking lights, and use those. but, the right way 2 do it, is to run a positive wire from the battery, and neg from the chassis, and a remote from the parking light to a relay.(the relay gives the fog lamps power from the battery, only when the remote wire "the parking light" is positive...)
don't forget your fuse, and if you need detailed help, hit me up on AIM, or vist you local radio shack...

I did this to my 95 RS. Just go to your local Autozone and pick up a Pilot fog light wring install kit. Only $20. Gives you everything you need (all wires, fuse, relay, swith). I hooked up my signal wire to the front corner light so it turns on w/ my headlights.

If you want to do it cheaper, just go to Radio Shack and buy a 12v SPDT relay and wire it as follows:
pin #85 - chassis ground
pin #86 - run wire from this pin to the tail light relay in the underhood fusebox. Just strip the end of the wire, pull the tail light relay out of it's socket and wrap the stripped wire around pin #4 on the relay (be sure that the wire is not touching any other pin besides #4)
pin #30 - attach wire and hook it to the positive on the battery. It's a good idea to fuse this wire with at least a 15 amp fuse.
pin #87 - positive leads on foglights.
Then just chassis ground the negative leads on the foglights and you should be in business. The foglights should come on with the parking lights. If you want to have a dedicated switch so you can turn the foglights off, just buy a toggle switch from Radio Shack and wire it inline with the wire that goes to pin #86 of the relay that you just wired up.

Or, you could also wire it directly to the switch so you can have your fogs on without your headlights being on, which I know some people like to do. But you run the risk of running out your battery if you leave it on when parked. So I guess you should run the wire to something that only turns on when the ignition is switched to the on position, such as the radio?
