Hey, I was wondering if anyone has used tint spray to tint their taillights? As you can probably tell from my sig I'm going for the blacked out look. Anyone have any advice?

Joe, I believe you have a SPACE between your "o" and "m" in your link.
Moreover, you have spaces in two or three other placesin your html link.

Therefore, I've gone to the liberty of correcting those spaces and have posted the picture below. Now, you can RIGHT CLICK on the picture, go to properties, and copy and paste the correct link into your signature within the profile section of your user control panel.

Hope that helps!

Welcome to the board, Joe. In fact, yes, I tinted my tails earlier this summer using some VHT Niteshades (from Summitracing). If anyone does it, I just recommend scuffing the surface some, using many, many light even coats and using Clearcoat afterwards for a nice shine. Also have Mineral Spirits nearby to correct any screwups.

Thanks man!

My car is tinted all the way around at 21%. The cops can hardly believe it either. Not that it matters after I show them my doctor's note.

The damn thing looks black as heck at night. I like the look.

Yeah I like the whole tail tinted instead of 3/4 of it emoji

I might do a light tint on my tailights, also want to tint my clear side markers, they are a little too nright compaired to the factory tint of the headlights.

Yep, just use paint thinner.

I wonder how just tinted the top half like Jason, would look on my Talon...

Maybe I'll try it one day.
