Hopefully they fit emoji They should be going on tomorrow. Tires are brand new 215/45/17, hoping they reduce the wheel gap I had with the 40 series.

They're slotting everything nowadays. First rotors, now rims. Dang tuners.

now i might be wrong, but 45 series is a lower profile than 40 series.

so your wheel gap is actually going to be worse

you got it backwards
the higher the series the higher the profile
225/50R16 is much thicker sidewall then 225/40R16
series is the ratio of sidewall to tread, the higher it or the wider the tread, the thicker the sidewall

They fit on perfect although I think I still need to lower at least an inch. Sad thing is they don't stand out like my white ones did emoji

I'll post pics later, its still raining outside. Friggin gay. haha

if anyone puts on 17inch rims, i think a nice 50 series tire should accompany them. Makes the tire look nice and thick, and it most definitely reduces the wheel gap. I have my GSX 17's w/50 series and i love um. When i upgrade to 18's, I will use a 45 series tire.

The 45's are alright, it looks much more normal now with it. I had a 40 series before and it looked so messed up.

Like them a lot! I really dig the silver with the polished lip. I guess ive never really been a huge fan of white wheels.
