I was driving home from my girlfriend's sister's house and I saw this '84 Toyota Corolla for sale for 600 dollars and its read "needs carbader work" and "great running" so I called my roomate up and we went back the next day and this crackhead lady had it for sale and she wanted 450 for it so we waited a little while and called her back and said we had 350 cash in hand....So she took it of course to go buy more crack I am assuming. Now that's true pimp my ride type shit there... I'm sure it's got a horrendously funky smell, as well as more rust than you care to think about... IMO paint it sunburst yellow pearl, put on some kinda light and somewhat cheap 14" rims, and swap in the biggest HP engine that's doesnt require an assload of work, and start drifting that thing. Hatchback oldschool corollas are great for drifting because they're so light,cheap, and RWD, you can drift one rather well with just 300WHP... but if you dont wanna drift it, you could still set it up like a drifter and make it a very unique show car... Hell, for $350, you could very possibly build a show car out of that for less than what most of us here put in our cars for regular maitenence, lol...

Impressive thread. The kid gets compliments for scoring a good deal on a RWD Corolla, then gets props for peddling it for better than 4X what he paid for it and the green widebody car gets clowned to the point of shrinking his sig down.
