Well I lowered my car with crap ass cheap ebay (that I got for free) coilovers and they flat out suck. I hate the ride it is gawd aweful...I should have listened to you guys.

I love the way my car looks dropped but I'd rather have comfort when I drive.

Here are the pics:

Sorry to hear that, get yourself a nice set of H&R Sport or Eibach Pro-Kit Springs

Looks good. I had the ebay coilovers and they sucked. Switched them out with prokits on stock struts and the ride was alot better.

If you want a nice ride and you are looking into struts after you get your coilover/springs situation sorted out my advice would be to not get the tokico blues, but save up for the tokico Illumina's!

I didn't think the illuminas were much different than the blues.

Get some pro-kits and blues and the ride is great.

Well, I've had blues and illuminas. I've also had tein springs, prokits, skunk2s, maxspeeds, intrax, sprint, and some other one. I didn't think the blues were much different in ride then the illuminas. I made 1 adjustment on the illuminas and that was it. I don't think the adjustment part was worth the extra $200 considering it was never used.

get the tein basic damper setup, nothing better
690 bucks or so and your all set. (well plus camber kits)
youll spend just about the same if you get any shock/coilover sleeve setup

you should really get those "slash" side panel thingies... it helps the looks of the 97-99 bumpers a LOT
looks good lowered. I don't mind the coilover-type ride, I like pounding my organs into dust.

yes, but which setup? The basics should be the cheapest and the Type flex are the most expensive, I am not sure about the adjustablity on the basics, but with my Type flex, it is 16 way adjustable and with the EDFC ( soon the be installed) it changes to half increments so you have 32, excellent ride quality.

people who go to the track like having adjustable shocks. you can adjust them for better performance (better traction off the line) at the track and then easily change them back for comfort on the ride home.
