What's up guys,

I just bought a local project and one of the problems that it has is that it was broken into and had the driver's side pillar stolen. So I'm looking online and I see a couple of 3 pod pillars on ebay for sale.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7971209966&category=46100

My question to you is, Do I have to have the stock pillar to "bolt" the new 3 pod one on? I remember that I did it on my RS-T and my GS-T, but do we really need to have a stocker on? Let me know guys, Thanks

i have one like that- from lotek i think- mine was a direct replacement, that looks like its a direct replacement too- you remove your stock trim and that takes its place- its the entire trim. they generally have screws that you screw into your a pillar to hold the pod trim piece in place, because the original trim was held on by the clips.

i believe MOST of the 3 gauge pillars just end up attatching to the stock pillar. although like ^^ said, some are made as a direct replacement.

Actually, most gauge pillars replace the stock one.
