I got some side skirts and was wondering how everybody else approached them. I gather they bolt in some locations (fender wells)and probably self tapping screws for inside the door jams, however, I was wondering if I should also go with double sided sticky tape to help keep the kit close to the body.

I was told the stock molding on the bottom of the Eclipses (mine is 96) is held on by double sided sticky tape.

Any info helps guys, thanks!! I did a search but got really nothing.

Oh and they are the Blitz side skirts (I know I know, but they came in the kit I got)

use double sided tape or some sem glue. if you use glue, they will pretty much be on permanantly. then use 2 stainless screws to hold in the front and back into the quarter panel and the front fender. and then when i put my widebody on, i put in some rivets along with the inner door sill, and then molded over top of them. here are some pics of what i mean:
here are the 2 stainless screws into the fender and along the skirt in the door jam the rivets in which you obviously cant see because i molded over them, but that info should help you get them on.

i agree with eclipse98 if you want them molded looking, if you just want something sturdy, use pop rivets, and use 3M double sided for the part that goes onto the rear quarter panel

Thanks guys! Ya, mine are alot like the ones in the pic. They have the "vents" towards the rear of the skirt.
