lol it looks like ass trust me. It resembles bolting on a wicker chair when its painted. I tinted the gel coat a few different ways and didn't like the results at all.But I got tips on how to make the colored cf stand out great plain and just the way it was made.I'm redoing a black cf hood in green strating this weekend so look for pics next week. Check my thread green cf or something like that to see the old stuff.

you can't paint over it with a pearl, buuuut you can paint over it with one of the parts of a candy paint. Import Tuner featured a 240 (the cover said BETTER THEN SEX I think) with a black carbon fiber hood with a candy apple red clearcoat, it looked great. if you can find a candy white (Which I am sure does not exist) you could do it.. but otherwise probably not a great idea. my advice for your exterior makeover: ditch the basket handle spoiler.

not stupid at all because I painted mine green in hopes of getting that same look. but it turned out looking like painted wicker. I will take a pick and show you what I mean on one of the many failed attempts on what I was looking for lol.
