#82685, "need some input on body"

Here's the scoop. i have a 95 gsx which has rust damage on the strut mounts as well as the fenders and some other areas. thats all being fixed, but the fenders need to be replaced either now or sometime soon. i already have a full body kit that was supposed to go on my 97 rs, but now im selling the car. so should i have the kit put on right now while the work is being done, or should i just leave the bumpers stock and sell the kit (its a rodora front and sides and blitz rear) also, i looked at different fenders trying to see what to get. i definitly dont want z3's. i like the henshin x1's, but at 225 each, i dont know. where can you find oem replacements? any input is appreciated and welcomed. thanks

Well, do you want the kit on it or not? If you do, do it now while it's being worked on. If you're not concerned about looks, sell it and use the money otherwise. This is really something only you can answer, your car, your preference emoji

I bought a couple fenders at a junkyard. I found them between $35 and $75 depending on quality.

There's a reputable company on ebay that sells OEM parts for our cars. Also stock=sexy, sell that kit and buy upgrades for the engine emoji

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't call him any names or flame him. You've come a long way emoji

GSX = Go, not show. But to each their own...

well dont worry about the go part of it, im doing that regardless. im just thinking if i ever want to enter it into a show, as good as stock looks, would it be enough to win anything. (since theres not much originality in stock, unless of course your the only one, lol) i guess also, even if i didnt have the kit, i would still buy 97-99 parts and do the conversion. so maybe i will just get it put on then. still not sure of whether to go oem with the fenders or not...thanks for the replies though

*edit*

just looking on ebay i found these which are close to the henshin x-1's...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7960933931&category=33644

and then for oem style:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7961626806&category=33640

(i know you need to buy l & r seperatly)

any thoughts?

WEll if you want original you're gonna have to get a Veilside kit because everyone and their mother has all the other kits. That's actually the only kit I would ever even consider putting on an Eclipse.

The only kit I like is the Rhodora one but I have not seen too many stock cars in car shows. The key in stock is the extra originality on the inside and out.

I am parting out my 95 RS!!!
