wasnt sure if this was the right place to post this or not...

this was the only other post i found about this

http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=14504&mode=full

both of my strut towers have rust, the passenger side has actually rotted. i have no experience welding or anything like that, but i talked to a guy who could do it ("cut out" the rusted section and weld in a new one, and paint it of course), but said just the labor costs would be over $600 and thats not including materials. i am very low on cash right now, and not sure what to do at this point. this is a structural part of the car, so i know they need to be fixed, but like i said money is definitly an issue. anyone who had this happen and was able to fix it, please help!

Do you have pictures of the damage? it may not be as bad as you think.

unfortunatly no. itll be a couple days before i can take some since im at school and my car is at home right now. i have 2 cars, so i dont need to drive it fortunatly. if the damage is just the tops of the towers and did not affect the other side of the panel, would it be fine to drive for a while until i have the money to fix it? again sorry about no pics.
