Those look nice but I'm sure they are real expensive. I think that simulation feature is kind of dumb. I guess it would be useful in car shows but still, not very handy when it comes to street applications.

not expensive considering the great features these gauges have, these gauges are priced around the same as Defi BF, Blitz, HKS.

Sorry, have to step in and say Autometer sucks dick no matter what they decide to put out. Buy GReddy, defi, hks or A'pexi so you don't have to worry about bad readings.

Agreed! Autometer's are soooo inaccurate. For that price, go get some DEFI's. The BF Ambers are sikk AND they're 60mm. Not those puny 52mm's. Trust me, it makes a world of difference.

They are over 200 bucks for each gauge and close to 250 for the boost gauge. Then you have to buy the remote module for 200 more. They still seem more like a show gauge than a performance gauge when you compare them to what Defi guages are capable of doing. Seriously what the heck does anyone need a demo feature for? Sure it's cool but after the novelty wears off your going to wish you spend the money on a better set of guagues like Defi.

the can log everything at any rpm. that is a great feature. honestly for a setup like mine or any 2gnt where we dont have a standalone ecu, these gauges would be great. im going to call autometer tomorrow and see if they have plans to add a wideband gauge like the dynojet and when they will be adding a water temp gauge.

when they have those two gauges, i will buy every gauge and the unit simply because it would be awsome to datalogg all that at one time. its a loggers dream imo.

What your saying does make sense but autometer is notorious for making overpriced guages that don't perform any better than some of thier less expensive guages. Look at the reverse indiglo guages they made and were charging over 150 bucks for. They did nothing more than glow blue. Autometer has clearly marketed these guages towards a show car. Look at the fact that they have a demo function. Why do you need this?

What it looks like honestly is that they took the technology that made Defi famous and the new technology that ford put in the new mustang gauges and put it together. Not very original if you ask me. Sure they are sorta cool but but for the money you spend on running all those guages you could have invested in a full stand alone on any other car. I do realize the 420a is limited on the options it has but I don't think you'll see these guages used in any real pro cars. In fact I bet a majority of them will show up at car shows.

You could be correct. However, Im looking at these gauges from the performance end and the ability of the gauges to report information to me. I could care less about the colors.
