HI,

I have done some searches about the projector with H1 or H4 light bulb. Do you guys know any new projector which has projector lens with 9006 light bulb.

And from my searches, some people complain that the projector is not good. Could you guys post which projector is good? with the following format.

the only ones using stock bulbs are the dual projectors (2ng generatin projectors by APC)

mine use 55 watt H3 bulbs... ive never had n e problems with them but they aren;t very bright

I've had every kind of headlight for the eclipse. Stay away from the projectors, they are crap. You'll be a lot happier with the OEM headlights.

I happen to like my projectors they are not the best but they give a nice cut off line and work well with my HIDs... There are times though that I wish I still had the stock headlights, but even if I had them I would do a retrofit an put projectors from a BMW in. Here are some pics for those who are interested.

Even with HID in them...projectors still suck.

Ya so I have the halo projectors now, i was thinking of using the 4,000 h3 silvania silverstar bulbs, you thinnk that with that temp, that the halp rings could or even would melt?

thanks. if they melt them, i will be at your door next spring with the police for your arrest and unfortunately, i will have to take your car from you if the bulbs do melt them, sorry, cops say i can hahahaahaha

Alright...lol. 4000k is the color temperature anyway, they'll put off the same amount of heat as any other bulb. If they do melt...consider it a sign to get rid of them and go back to OEM headlights. They are better anyway.

Aright, i'm sure i'm gonna get flamed for asking this, especially talking about another car, but there is reason i'm asking this...



Okay, my buddy as a 99 Civis SI that he crashed about 9 months ago, and we're just now finishing it off... he bought a set of v2 halo's and the bigger halo right wont light up... now granted we were running off a 12.5(or lower)volt test lead just to try to get the halo's to fire up. The smaller ones did, but the bigger ones didn't. now, we think its because of the low voltage. We would check the instalation instructions or any kind of specs, but there is VERY little paperwork. We think we remember seing something about a 13.5v feed on there, but we cant remember. We're thinking that with the car fully running and the leads car being alternator powered not battery charger powered it'll up the voltage, and we're hoping everything will work right... otherwize they were sent from the company broken.


NOW, i'm planning on putting a set of halo's on my car, and i want to avoid this... this is why i ask. Any thoughts?
