I am looking for some pics of aftermarket seats in the 2g. I mainly looking for Sparco and Corbeau....fixed and reclining. I searched through the archives and most of the threads have red X's. also for those with seats, can you tell me the comfort level on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the most comfortable and whether or not you would take long trips in those seats. I only want to buy seats once so i am trying to do this the right way.

Thanks

well, these are tenzo's. they are very comfortable. they have back adjustment by a lever (not a knob like most).

Does that seat sit as low as stock does? I don't want anything that can't sit as low as stock does maxed out.

they are damn close to stock height. it all depends on the brackets you get.

tenzo rally's. height all depends on what brackets you get. i have brackets from tenzo and the hieght is 3 way adjustable. one is lower than stock, one is exact stock, and the last is obviously higher than stock emoji
dont waste money on sparco's, i have sat in them and the tenzo is by far more comfy, i swear. the reason you pay so much more for sparco is because it says SPARCO on the top of the seat.

Why don't you rip apart a Sparco or Colbra and then rip apart a Matrix or whatever the no name set and check out the structural difference and the locking mechanisms and tell me that it's just the name.

When it comes to a catchcan, I agree the name is the money, but something that hold your ass during a wreck, I'd review my info.

I have a set of R-1's myself, and thats why I'm still using the stock seats.

Anyone who says a Tenzo or DAD seat is the same as a sparco or corbeau has never sat in a a real racing seat or taken a good look at them. You think Tenzo's are DOT approved? No, they collapse on impact. You think they're made with the same craftsmanship or out of the same quality materials? No. When the material on a Tenzo seat comes off from simple shifting around while shipping then they are pieces of shit. But hey, you get what you pay for....which is a lot more than a name sometimes.

i have sat in a sparco and tenzo and i like tenzo way more. the sparco are too tight for my liking, although they are supposed to be tight so you dont get knocked around, i just dont like it. its all in what you want really. of coarse theres going to be a diff besides APC, matrix and shit like that, thats just straight junk. ive sat in abotu every seat made almost, from sparco, corbeau, tenzo, apc, matrix, carbonfiber seats and what because i work at the emissions testing in ohio and drive 60% of cars in the state and i like tenzo the most out of the seats ive sat in. each to their own i guess again.

Damn I have been wanting Sparcos forever but the set I want (Milanos) will cost me over $1000, and it just seems way too much for seats...If I had the money...if I had the money...

A LARGE factor in comfort also has to do with your frame, I mean body frame. If you're 6'11" and 330lbs then you're not going to be comfortable in the same type of seat as a 4'7" 98lbs guy, dig? Describe body size (don't be perve's, Im not asking what he's wearing!) and it should be easier to get an idea of what will be comfortable.
