Does anyone know where i can get carbon fiber front bumper, rear apron, front fenders, and side skirts?

Yes I know it will be freakin expensive, but I'm thinkin about doing it... if they are even made.

Thanks

they used to be made...nowadays they stopped cuz people bitched about the CF they used. They used a lightweight racing material that didn't always look pretty like most of the stuff on the market is made for.

Only stuff you'll really find are hoods, wings, center tail sections, canards, splitters, fenders, and front lips...and Vis jus came out with a hatch.

you can check Carbon Creations, I think that is extremedimension's CF line. I am not sure if they have anything for Eclipses though... your best bet would be to learn how to do it yourself and go into business making CF shit for our cars emoji

you could try contacting squid skins in canuckistania and seeing if they'll make it for you...they may still make special applications. I am sure they didn't jus go and destroy the molds.

There is a place here in Toronto, Canada that does cf body parts but for DSM's I think they only do 97-99 talon body parts. Here is there webpage and you can e-mail them any question. http://www.squidskins.com/eyecandy/index.htm
The first talon in the pics I've seen at a couple of DSM meets and the fitment is really good the whole car was CF.

you weren't looking hard enugh IMO...Squid skins used to make the whole outside of the car till a lil while ago. You may be able to talk them into breakin out the molds again though if you have the monies.

Its hard to tell in the pics that it is cf. Everything was CF not sure if roof was. Well everything fits nice as you can see in the pics.

i can guarantee the roof wasnt...as that would require them to cut off the top of the car and break out some actual structural fabrication...I am sure all they really do is make a mold from a stock part, since all their stuff really doesn't get much flex on the car. Unless they jus threw a layer on it emoji

FFS! I know they aren't that heavy, but I still want the CF look, without the ADDED weight... Yes, I want them for the looks, but if I'm gonna have CF, I want it to be real CF body pieces.

But when stock isn't heavy there is no point. It might look ok if it was painted. Random raw pieces of carbon fiber thrown all over the place is stupid.

Not really worth it imo to throw all that money down to make the whole car carbon fiber. If you over due it, it tends to look sloppy. Our cars are heavy there is no way around it really unless you wanna strip a shit load of the frame. Our cars have a fat ass, and I have learned to accept it. But don't overdue on CF on the exterior because it will just look strait up nasty, I give my friend shit for this all the time.

Actually, if getting all the squidskins pieces truly dropped about 800lbs (as it was rumored to do), it would make a built all motor car possibly faster than a stock turbo car... power to weight. For a while, I was planning on improving my numbers by lowering the weight, now I have decided to just grossly overcompensate with power. emoji
