Just a few quick questions regarding projector headlights. I have a 98 talon as my name states, lol. Just wonderng which projector i would have to use, the 97-99 eclipse ones, or the ones for the earlier second gens. Also, are all projectors solely for h1 headlight fitment. Because, my hid kit is designed for 9006 like the stock low beams are, trying to figure out how i could get that to work out. Thanks,

you need 95-96 projectors to match your bumper. if not there will be a gap. most projectors use h4 bulbs. only the dual projectors (apc gen II) use our stock bulbs size as far as i know.

the gap isn't too bad if you go with 2gb headlights...i could dig up a pic if you want...but its enough to bug you and for everyone on the board to bitch at you :-p

As for the bulbs...grab the dual projectors...i am sure they all use stock bulb sizes...but you could always call or email the company and ask what kind of bulbs they take. I know at least the APC dual projectors use the stock bulbs, not sure about others.

All the single and halo projectors use h1/h3 or 4's, I forget which one, and the apc dual projectors use the 9005/9006 (stock) bulbs

Don't work for the system, Let the system work for you.

it is easy to fit any bulb int... just use some epoxy or JB Weld and screws and whatever else you think you need to use 9006 bulbs in the projectors.

THanks for the help guys, i will look in to the apc gen 3 headlights. I def dont want the gap like you said with the front bumper, so the 95-96 lights should work just fine. Once again, thanks for the help, maybe i will get some pics up if i ever get around to getting projectors actualyl ordered, lol. Almost forgot, anyone know where i can get the gen 3 or whatever?

i think summit or nopi had em...also check ebay as i am sure there are about 9 million sets for sale there.

Well i have looked around, the only projectors for the 95-96 years are on ebay, and they are halo style projectors or whatever. I dunno, i just cant seem to find the gen 2's anywhere that have the dual projectors you guys were talking about for the right years of 2g. Sorry to bug ya, any help would be great.

nopi has them. or do a web search for gen II apc projector. i've done that and found 3 or 4 different sites selling them.
