#79901, "Side Mirror Question"

I was thinking on if it is possible to tint the side mirrors that blueish color you sometimes see on Mercedes and BMW. I don't know about you guys but it annoys the hell out of me when I get an SUV behind me and his lights are angled just right into my side mirror to blind the shit out of me. I'm thinking that the blueish tint would help some and would also look very cool. Any ideas?

You can do whatever you want. I see no reason why tint wouldn't stick.I don't know how well you will be able to see out of it with a conventional tint on there but you can always take it off.I like to just angle the mirrors right back at the asshat with his highs on behind me. LOL usally the first mirror I start adjusting gets them to click them down or back off a little. But now that I think of it my car has green tint on the side windows now so its not bad at all really.

Thanks Madhatter. You pointed out the one thing I love doing every night roaming the town! Picking on all the assholes with SUVs. I mean I myself want a Yukon XL someday but I really do think some assholes angle their car just rite to piss us little people off.

APC's (I know, I know...) M3-Style Mirrors have a bluish tint to them. I have them on my dead Rs and I really liked how they reduced headlight glare.

Just a thought.

on spw.com i think there is some stuff that you might could use to tint them. They use them on headlights and such but unfortunately it is semi perminent so if you really are dead set on this then that would be the way to go.

I also move my mirrors to shine their light right back at them, and if that doesn't work i'll use my hand to block the light while gradually slowing down.
