Here are some pictures of my new HIDs in my aftermarket projectors. This is truely amazing! I was really impressed when I installed them and 10x more impressed when I cleaned the setup more and made adjustments with alignment. You will see for yourself the excellent cut off line and the crisp color. These HIDs are great and if you know anything about HIDs they are like woman and fine wine.. they only get better with age.

Looks good man. Is the actual light output pure white? I might have to get HID's again.

Yea for the most part its a pure white, at time tho it is a little more blue. I think as the bulbs break in more they will be more blue but still retain that very white look. These are 5000k bulbs so its very close to OEM

Alright then. I'm still in search for a good 4300k kit. Cops here love giving tickets for blue headlights so they loved me when I had my 8000k hid kit. Hehe

I say take a look at McCulloch, so far I will vouch for their product, we will see in a few months tho, some people have bad experience where others have excellent ones. And rite now they are working beautifully (Knock on Wood)

that looks nice as hell... do you have them in halo projectors or the regular ones?

Don't work for the system, Let the system work for you.

They are in halo projectors, its really sexy, the chrome housing gives some glare at the top but not much. It was an amazing mod, and made a huge difference. One of the best mods I have dropped money on.

I'll never go back to halogens, I just love the bright white color and the nice luminescence look on the street signs.

Looking good!

Are you using the H3 bulbs?

Where did you get your kit?

HIDs are great mods for the money imo. They not only help u see better at night, but they are also great appearence mods that will make your car stand out from those HID-wannabe Honduhs. People always complain they are too expensive but then they turn around and dump a grand on some wacky looking body kits and altezza lights, etc.

These are the bulbs I am currently running right now, they are superwhite with purple hue. I parked my car next to my friend's 325 with OEM HID, and mine looks noticeably whiter and more intense than his from a distance.

I too vouch for the the Mcculloch kit.

NEVER buy from Bruces speed shop if any of you still do. Those HIDs they had were shit and they wont work with you at all.

How long do HID's last? And do you need to replace the whole kit or do you just replace the bulbs?

It all depends on the decentsy of the kit. Usually its known that bulbs last 3x longer than regular halogens so that should never be a concern. The main problem with alot of aftermarket kits is that the ballasts sometimes go out early leaving you paying $150-200 for a new one. A retro-fit, which is taking parts out of BMWs, Lexus, Audi, and other high end vehicles that were stock with HIDs is most likely the best place to put your money because they are manufactured by Hella and Philips the best in HIDs. Retro-Fits are great but can cost anywhere from $200-500 more depending on the setup you decide to go with. I am very happy with my McColluch kit as you will hear others say to. I gave you alot of information here probably more than you were looking for, but before you decide to buy HIDs you should research about it before dropping that kind of cash. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask I will be more than willing to help anyone who needs help pertaining HIDs
