lol...primer is kinda ghey on imports anyway...they are supposed to be shiny and pretty. If you do go with primer, do it flat black, and make sure its done right and even and actually looks like it was supposed to be painted that color.

if you are going to paint it with "Glad to be here paint" then at least make it semi-gloss black, like that John Deere Exterminator black paint. but then your car better be really, really fast to back up the ghetto speedstar look.

yes the did rattlecan the WRX and i don't think it made it look any more "sleeper" it's still a fucking STI. But the 240sx witht he gloss black decals was hawt. Until every asschoad ricer prick painted their car flat black to look "cool".

they wanted a Mad Max look for the WRX. Was pretty cheesy in my opinion. It sucked.

if you want a primer look, be different with it. do what skunk2 did and get the chalkboard primer. then you can write and erase right on your car!

For some reason, I keep getting praised on the grey primer look. Then I just tell them, its for the winter and people tell me I should keep it like that. Even my local paint shop told me that, lol.

Don't be a cheap fuck. Pain the car the way it was meant to be painted.

any pics of these primered cars?

SCC project cars are mostly suburus and honda/acuras and cars that will never see US soil.

I cant believe that there is an entire thread talking about leaving a car a primer color. This is almost as gay as the VW guys that rust their cars. Do the paint job right please.

Here's a picture of my car after I sprayed the black for the roof (the rest of it is in primer sealer at that stage).
