Has anyone ever seen 3D style gauges available for our cars? emoji (Think Acura RSX-S gauges) The Indiglo/7-color/Reverse style are sort of boring to me...

He is talking about raised/embossed gauges that give the appearance of being 3D.

I can make gauge overlays that give the appearance of being 3D, but you really can't have it literally embossed that much or the needles will stick. Then you have to mess with the length of the needle stem and then get it recalbrated. Not worth it.

I just make them in photoshop and print them out on high res gloss photo paper. I have done pics of my car as part of the overlay.

hey do you got some photoshop templates of our gauges u could send me? i would like to do this in my car as well but im not sure baout the sizes of the gauges. also how do you get them to light up? or do you just have the orange halo around your gauges making it look like an actual solar eclipse? i remember when my indiglos went out that was how mine looked. or is the paper so thin that it shines through? my email is rustyshark@aol.com if you can send me some templates to work off of that would be awesome.

It's hard to find pics of these but go to www.acura.com and look at the virtual interior tour of the RSX.

or http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/309723/2 (Pics of a nice Turbo RSX-S)

hope this helps...
