#79042, "Those With 18's Come Here"

Need pictures of 18's and how much you are lowered. I am planning to get 18" HP Racing Evos soon, and then plan to buy my Tokico Illumina suspension setup. I am undecided on wheter I should buy their kit with the 1.5" springs or go with maybe some Tein or H&R springs and go for a 2" drop. I really think I'd be more satisfied with the 2" drop but I dont kno if its too much and how the ride quality would be. So please post pictures of your drop and how much you did on what strut setup. Also how the ride quality is compared to stock.

225/40/18 tires. This is the Tokico blue shocks and the Tokico Springs setup. Ride quality was just fine for me.

Same tires. Eibach Sportlines, 2" drop. I think the Tokico springs settle lower and are more like a 2" drop.

if you have a FMIC, why did you hide it behind mesh? the wing might be carbon fiber, doesn't change the fact it's ugly. tach and speedo don't work? fix them!!! getting a new tach is a band-aid solution and if a cop ever finds out your speedo is not working, that's a pretty hefty ticket right there. making something carbon does not make something cool, so your headlight eyebrows are still gay. and you are making your car even uglier as we speak! at least you do all your work yourself. mad props for that but gaaawd, your lack of taste is horrible.

WTF cares dude. It's his car, he can do anything he wants to it. It's not like he even asked your opinion.

Anyway, here's my gallery on Tooners... with 18" HP Evos as well.

Why the hell do you care so much. It isn't your car, leave him alone.

Damn.

I had my FMIC covered in mesh for a while too because I was tired of pulling rocks out of it.

thanks flyinesi and manny.

i like my taste, everything is soemthing different~

and for the record ...
1- i dont have those headlights anymore, i have angel eyes.
2- notice in my pic in my sig, i changed the spoiler.
3- i am fixing the speedo and tach now since i have the tranny/motor out.
4- im not 'hiding' the fmic of which you thought was a air filter which still makes me giggle, i had mesh in the grille because in ohio where im at, there is constant road contruction and rocks and i didnt want a hole or a bunch of bent fins on the i/c dooooooood emoji

I'm dropped about 2" on coilovers, maybe a little more. I have 225/40R18 Nankang NS-II tires and there's barely any rubbing on the right rear tire. But then again, my coilovers and shocks are stiff as hell. emoji

go with the 225/40 tire. I'm on the 235 with a 2-2.5" drop and they rub in the front and rear, but soft suspension.

These rims are sold to someone planning a 1.5" drop and I'm going with a 225 next time.

I would say for sure that they do, at least that is my experience. I had both sets and there isnt a noticable difference between them. It looked the same as the 2" springs.

18's on 225 40 tires. Dropped on Tein SS coilovers: 2inches or more. The rear is on the lowest setting, and the front is about an inch from the lowest setting.
