#78973, "Halo Angel Eyes Headlights, now fog lights dont work"

I just finished installing the Halo angel eyes. When I was finish installing the drivers side, I turned on the headlights and everything was good. After finishing installing the passenger headlights, I noticed that my fog lights didn't turn on. Kept playing with the switch, still didn't turned on. For the angel eyes, I spliced it to the wires for the side markers. I know I did everything right. Installing headlights did not give me problems before. Only if I had a multimeter then I can test if there's current passing the foglight wires. But I dont have one with me. Anyone have any ideas why my foglights just stopped working? Thanks

Hmm that's weird. My only guess is maybe something shorted out and it blew a fuse or a relay?

Thats really strange, because I had no problem at all? Thats bizare. It was just plug and play for me. Plug new headlight into harness and patch angel eye into side markers. They should'nt even interfere with with fogs. I am also thinking maybe it's drainin to much energy from one fuse or relay like stated above.. Not necessarily blown but just overloaded. Also may be a result of why the EGTs and gauges wont work. to much draw on one particular fuse. I dont know how many fuses would control the illumination tho, and whether or not inside and outside are controlled on same relay or series of relays.. Does this make any sense?

Most definatly sounds like a fuse... check those first, then relays. Probubly overloading the circut, its possible.

hey i have a possible solution to everyones problem, first check all wires and then go to ace and buy (2) fuse holders and put them in for the angel eyes so that it will run on its own fuse and not rely on the parking lights fuse. i had a few prblem too with electrical and adding crap in be careful. if you have any questions AIM me at SE BRZ 1

Did you use the ground for the side markers or a separate ground? I used a separate one and everything works fine. You could be overloading the ground.
