I looked all through the manual and couldn't find where the damn flasher is. I bought a new electronic flasher for my car and have no idea where it goes!!!

For the signal lights and hazard lights. Its the flasher that controls the speed of them. Where is it??

oh, i dont know about that mang, i figure it has a constant power supply, and if you change the amps that the lights draw, it would speed up or slow em down. im no electronic whiz though, and i havent heard of having a flasher adjuster thing on a dsm.

OK I'll go look again. It does have an electronic flasher though, guys at Auto Part Source looked it up and gave me the new part. I just need to find where to install it...

I had my flasher replaced by the dealer. It is behind the console directly behind the stereo somewhere. I know because I had to take out my stereo before they would replace it. Hope that helps

It sits behind the radio - in the center console - there are two relays there actually - but you should be able to find which is which quite easily - hope that helps.

2003 VW GTI 1.8t.. I used to have a 95 Eclipse but well...water sucks.
You think it would but it doesn't. Me and my dad had the whole center console apart (even took out the thing where the radio is) and couldn't find it! Nothing that even looked like it! However I got an aftermarket stereo, the installers wouldn't move it would they?
Also I got a Talon not an Eclipse. I wouldn't see why that would make a difference since the interiors are identical but maybe?

Well I finally found the flasher!!
Tried putting in the new flasher (thats supposed to blink faster) but its two prong instead of 3!! Oh well, I tried it anyway and it worked, but I could barely hear the click and it was slower than stock. So I go back to AutoPart Source and get a new employee this time. I said I wanted to exchange my current one for the same one except 3 prongs. Well he starts saying thats not the right flasher, I gave him the wrong one, that box is for a different flasher!!!!I kept telling him thats the one I got yesterday but you could tell he didn't believe me. ARGH!!!!Luckily the guy that helped me yesterday was there and told him thats the one he sold me - a light duty flasher. He then gets me the 3 prong one (heavy duty), and I ask if it will blink faster than my stock one. He's says he can't guarantee that it'll blink faster, although it shouldn't. I was like so can I just return it then if it doesn't? NO! Its an electronic and once its installed you can't return it!!! ARGH. Good to see the employees have such a different opinion on the same part - yesterday the employee said it would definetly speed up my signal speed.
So after all said an done, all I know is how to take apart my dash really easily/quickly!!
Guess I'm gonna have to try and cut the wires to make it blink faster. Anyone know what wire, where and if it works? (I won't be burning bulbs like crazy will I?)
