I know the concept of doin it. I just want to see some pics and find out how you guys did it. Did you use a hole saw or what? Does it lay flush?

Thats for the heater vents, right? I want to stick my EGT in my cigarette lighter hole. Anybody?

i dont have it in mine but a friend did it to his. we went to lowes and bought a drill bit for drilling holes in doors etc and it was 2 1/16th in size so the hole is a perfect size.

same thing i did, with that bit, but i put a shift light in there, pretty easy, i mounted mine to the piece of plastic that comes off a little back there, really easy, even with a long ass shift light

Ya thats how i did mine. I went to home depot and got a hole saw. it doesn.t sit completly flush but you dont notice it. If i used the bar clamp that comes with my gauges to secure it it would sit flush but since it sits in there tight and i like it to remove easy so i can take my center counsle off. you an see a small pic in my sig i put my volt meter there.

take out ciggarette lighter, i got a pair of pliers, and yanked it out. then i dremel'd the hole. it does not sit flush because of the contours of the console, but you cant see that stuff. have fun emoji
