Thanks for the compliments and comments! yeah, I'm gonna drop it some more, and yes, Turbo is sitting in the garage, just setting up all the intercooler piping first. Should be turbo in about a week. Fuel system is all in, just gotta finish up the manifold.

A 9in rim isn't to big if you get a slightly bigger offset. Just a few mm is enough. I can turn lock to lock and not rub on sides or top. I'll try and get some more pics of the rims and tires.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts, much appeciated after spending all that coin.

I was going to say lower it more, but if you have a 9" rim, you may have problems rubbing even if you drop like 1.4" with prokits.

The absolute bare minimum it took to get them to fit and not rub, about 1/2in. The rims were originally aftermarket for a newer Mustang GT. Worth it IMO for the traction that a 245 width tire can give. It really doesn't look too different than before, just alot wider emoji I was originally a little worried too, didn't want to look like those lowered little rice burners with tires that stick out like 6in's or something. The 1/2in is really hardly noticable. It really helps alot for lauching, definetly a noticable improvement, can't wait to take it to a track next season emoji

You're concerned about traction with a chrome rim? That sucker has to weigh eleventy billion pounds

Huh??? Why would having a chrome rim make it weigh so much more??? Chrome plating is only microns thick and it's over the same aluminum rims that you and everyone else has. The weight difference, if any, is very small compared to any other aluminum rim. I have not exactly weighed them, but considering how sparce of a rim it is, I highly doubt is is much more than any other rim and tire of the same size.

P.S. yes, very concered about traction, even though 245's are pretty wide, wider is almost always better, and their still not as much traction as I would like.
