WHAT DID THEY USE FOR THIS STUFF!? I was removing the sound deadening material from under my backseat, and it remined me of dried tar/ driveway sealer...black, chunky, heavy as hell.... why did they use THIS of all stuff?...is there more of it...where is it at?

Also, is there a good alternative..that isnt hard and quite heavy sheets of plaster-like material?

well, at least someone replied I'm still debating on whether or not to put some back in there..or just leave it out..'cause what I removed had to be at least 5 or 10lbs (guessing)

i remember seeing that, but my reason for posting this is that I was mostly wondering WHERE all that stuff is...i knew it was back under the seats..but where else is it? I'm not going for the stripped honda look, I just want to shave off as much useless weight as I can, because once I get my hatch stuff started, I'm gonna be putting in a full size spare(so that when/if I have a flat, I dont have to worry about running a tiny donut wheel) and I'm too cheap for AAA
