yeah, actually... i've scraped it good a couple times. the back is a BITCH. jeez, it rubs worse than the front some places.
I was going to medford last week, and my friend was driving and we hit a deer going about 40ish. the deer did a backflip, laned in the other lane on the side. there were two and it was a last second try to squeeze between them thing.
I don't have my 5mph bumper on, and the left bracket for it, the top part got shoved through my bumper. it cracked it a couple inches right below my driver headlight, and cracked it right by the driver vent on the side. my headlight is broken, there is no bolts holding it in. it dented in my driver fender about an inch and a half.
I popped out the dent, did a one shot bondo job, and put one coat of paint on it, yes with a rattle can. the front bumper actually i did a good job on. I sanded it all the way down almost through the gel coat, primed it, and glossed it. nearly as reflective as the stock paint. the skirts, left and right fenders and rear bumper are all just one gloss because i was going on another trip and i ran out of time. i fixed a ding or two at the same time, and i think it looks better this way after spending what... like, 15 bucks for paint and bondo and fiberglas. if you have to ask me what it looks like, then it ain't too shabby in the dark yes?
