I know what wax is but I was wondering about glazer and how it is different from wax.

a glaze is just something to make the vehicle shine. it has no protection with it and most often has a lot of fillers that hide small scratches and swirls but quickly rinses away. usually used right before a show or something like that. often you can top your glaze with a wax for a protective coat that will make the glaze last a little bit longer. glaze is nothing more than a polish to bring out a shine and hide small scratches and swirls. a wax makes a car shine obviously but is more of a protective coat to protect the finish once you are done polishing the car.
