oh, if this helps with the decision at all........the slipstreams only weigh in at 13.5 lbs a piece.

dont like 100% black rims. look like civic hubcaps. i'd get the last one but in 18s cause i like silver and i like the deep dish rim. and it's probably one of the cheapest.

actually, the rotas are the cheapest. 748 with kumho 712's. the adr's are 800 and the exels are 950. i do love the pimp factor of the exels tho which is why this is such a hard decision.

the one thing thats makin me think about going with the 17's or 18's instead of the lightweight rotas is the fact that i wouldnt be able to upgrade to gsx brakes with the rotas since they are only 16". damn this bein such a tough choice.

What size rim is the Exel??

Mine is a 18x8 w/ +40mm offset and 235/40 tires. Word of caution...this size rubs if you are lowered and don't cut out part of your wheel well.

i was just going to get the exel rims with 225/40/18 tires........they are 18 x 7.5 btw.

and blizare, those two rims are the ones im having the hardest time deciding between. its a 200 dollar difference between the two.

Come on man, you already have a slow 2gnt, you aren't goign to gain that much performance out of getting the light weight 16" rotas. Just start rollin' on some pimp ass 18's, call it a day, and start pimpin' some hoes. emoji

Worked for me...but I also have the power to turn the wheels...good luck!

lol i know i dont have the power yet but im planning on boosting within the year so i will have the power then. but when that time comes ill have the power to push the 18s with ease so i guess it doesnt matter too much. i think i might get them.

edit---does anyone know if wheelmax has an email address? i need to ask them something but i dont feel like calling them and they dont have an email addy listed for some reason.

i have decided to go with the 18s because i want to be able to put gsx brakes on once i start boosting; the bling factor doesnt hurt either. it will be a couple months till i get them because im dropping it and puttin some low blitz skirts on first but pics will be up as soon as they are on.

Injen, when it comes time for you to buy rims, hit me up, I might sell mine to you for a sweet ass deal.

Edit: I also heard Exel rims were cheaply built.

Also, about Rota wheels, I asked a guy at a local import shop about some Rota Attacks, and he made a few calls while i was there, and his rota dealer told him they stopped selling them, because more than a few people came back to them after saying their wheels "blew apart" on the freeway... emoji...

Rota's are FUGLY IMO..i think completely black rims are the most hideous thing you can possibly put on a car..now gunmetal or somethin isnt 2 bad, but pure black is just disguisting..get something you know isnt gonna bend in half, and looks nice IMO..the weight wont do 2 much of a difference
