Yeah, like it says, I have a rattling sunroof. Doesn't make any noise with the stereo pumped, or anything, but when my rpms hit 1700-1800 it lets out a loud ass rattle. Must have something to do with the resonance of the motor, or the exhaust. Very strange, but annoying nonetheless. Any suggestions??

add some medium strength thread locker to them first... i tightened mine up and they just rattle loose again about a week or so... added some thread locker.... 6 months now no rattles.

AND have someone press down on the sunroof while doing all of the above. The way it is designed allows for several millimeters of movement up and down on each torx bolt. by having someone press down on it while you tighten it keeps all the torx bolts in the same position and when it closes creates a vacuum seal.
yes it is so. do it.

That sounds like the game plan...I had already tightened the screws, but never htough of using thread lock.

ya just tighten the screws with threadlocker. I remember years ago when i believe it was kaptainmyke that said he even had someone sit on the sunroof then he tightned them.

If that does not work, I would recommend a full sunroof service... remove the headliner, pull the motor, rails, and cable. Lube the rails and the cable, retime the motor, and check everything for excessive wear...

Make sure you put eagle rails and Clevite bearings in.
