Ok, long story short after a frustrating oil pressure sensor install I managed to get slightly used mobil 1 in several drops along the floormats and actual carpet in the interior of my car. Any tips on getting it out?
Thanks vandy

good idea!!! yeah the grocery rents them at home, I bet they have them around here too...
its still a little wet, and i've tried sopping alot of it up...is there a particular powder besides kitty litter that works well in absorbtion? I"m worried kitty litter will ruin the carpet/make my car smell like a litter box...
has anyone tried scraping the chemical off of diapers? I know that's absorbant as hell---

womens pads/tampons lol
theres some absorbancy for you.
steamcleaning would probably be your best bet.
i had a can of paint left over from the body kit install laying on the floor in the back seat. somehow it managed to get open and leave me a nice puddle of paint in the carpet. i never did get it out, tryed all kinds of shit, even acetone lol. never tried the steamcleaning though, but i've heard wonders. i just put the passenger seat back as far as it goes, you'd never see it hehe.

Automotive hand soap works good. Rub it in and use a sponge to soak it then vac with shop vac. I have done it a few times and no problems with color or stink.
