LOL...they actually do rub at the moment. Thats why I posted in the For Sale section for other springs. I'm just way too low for this size rim/tire. I have Sprint 2" springs now and need to get some Eibach Pro Kit's or something similiar.

Sorry to be bad news, but changing your suspension wont change the fact the tires are going to rub.
I met this local girl who bought rims from Discount Tire and her tires were 235 on stock suspension (high waters).

I walked up to the girl like is this your car, how can you have 235s, And she was like they rub. Thats how I first met her, and after that I took her car to get fixed and we started dating. She's long gone now, but I wouldn't have ever talked to her if it wasnt for her wide tires.

So even in her case, the stock suspension wont keep them from rubbing.

Get'em change before its too late.

Where are they rubbing? Are they rubbing on the fender, or just the strut? You could always just order some spacers to fix the offset.

yea they rub on the arm that curves over the tire i bet any amount of money. whats the offset and rim width? get some hubcentric wheel spacers and they wont rub anymore, thats what i had to do. i wanted 245" meat on my car too but i knew they would rub like a mofo. suspension wont really help, its the offset/rim width thats the killer

Well the reason I was thinking suspension is becuase believe it or not...they aren't rubbing the control arm, at least not when the car is jacked up. I'm sure if I hit a huge pothole it will hit. They are rubbing on the fender though, so I figured if the car was lifted .5" or so, that it would help. No?

i have 225/35/19's on my car..with no fender gap i am lowered a lot on coilovers and my control arm is so close i can barely put a finget between that and the tire and i have never rubbed..so it has to be rubbing on there with 245's and i also got my rear lip grinded off..i know that u can fit a 235/35/19 but thats the biggest..

An Eclipse with rubber as big as mine. Weird. 245/45/17 IMO. Drop down to something manageable, like they said raising the suspension ain't gonna do you a TON of good.

turby, 245" rubber eh? I wish I had 20 feet wide tires emoji
