Anyone done this here? I am almost done with everything, just finishing up the doors, and i'll only have the dash left. Did you glass over the vinyl, or take the vinyl off? I have 2 spare dash boards, and i peeled the vinyl off one, and it has NO shape, basically the foam/vinyl gives it the contours etc. I think it would be hard to get the exact shape if you take off the vinyl. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

i have done it twice. first i glassed over the vinyl, pulled like a mother. then i pulled off the vinyl with a heat gut so it seperates from the foam. keep as much of the foam on it as u can then soak the foam with resin. then add layers of glass over that.
let me know if u have any more qs ben

god....i can't even imagine doing that. what if yo kick it or hit your head or some shit. its almost as stupid as me putting my fiberglass kit on...DOH.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Three layers of glass on a dash if you hit it with your head you'd get knocked out before it cracked dude. Glass is hard as a rock especially when it's backed. Glass kits crack because they aren't backed by anything. If you lay glass on the dash it isn't going anywhere at all.
