does anyone know if i can access the the h3 bulbs from under the car or are the access doors to the h3 bulbs on top of the housing? i m trying to change my bulbs but the screw it says to unscrew in the manual seized on both fog lights and i stripped one of them already. points to anyone who can help. thanks. by the way, they are 97+ style fog lights.

i believe there are those 4 torx bits on the face of the light that can be removed and then you can get to it. i got one of the real bolts off but then on the other side it stripped. look into those bits that are for stripped screws and lots of wd40 if its seized.

forget it, i got it. for any one else who wants to know... if you do strip that one screw for each fog light or if they are seized, simply jack up the car and access the bulb from the bottom. it is such a common misconception that removing the tamper proof torx screws will allow you to change the bulbs. its a DSM, nothing's that easy. lol

^^^ is right. it is jus that one screw but both of mine are seized and i stripped one trying to unscrew it. so getting at the bulb access doors from underneath the car is just an alternative. once you're under the car, its in plain view and really nothing in its way. maybe the bumper but hteres still room. i jus used an extension with a phillips bit to unscrew the 3 screws that hold each access door.
