Hey do you guys think i should get a carbon fiber hood? My car is dark blue. Should i get regular(black w/ black) or blue(blue weave mixed with black) for $80 more, or keep my hood stock? Help me, i can't decide. I also will have gun metal rims, if that changes anything. Thanks

I think you should get regular carbon fiber hood because the blue one won't exactly match your car's color (at least I don't think). It might clash...or just stay stock to save money...I personally would keep the stock one just because I don't think its worth it if you already have a custom paint job. It looks cleaner to have a matching hood in my opinion...I would only put a carbon fiber hood on my car if it my car was white or black or gunmetal color.

I'd say gunmetal rims, black/black hood. it would be sweet.. how much are you getting the hood for? I might be able to hook to up with a cheaper price.

Hey Ian, I just spent all day at the shop. If I'm lucky, car may be painted this wednesday. Chances are it won't be painted til thursday. The side skirts are primered now. Do you guys think I should shave my 3 piece wing? I can probably get it done for free, or dirt cheap, but it would take 1-2 days, which I really do not want to wait for at this point. If I did shave it, I'd probably get an aluminum wing...

I'm really tempted to shave it, but with all the new cars coming in, I just want to get my car out before the weekend. Thre is way too many new cars trying to get stuff done. Two cars have to be painted tomorrow hopefully, and then I will get mine painted on thursday. Ian, if you wanna come down I'll be there from 5 pm til 12 am at least on wednesday and thursday...give me a call on my cell...

Hey Ian, unfortunately there are way too many cars and its taking way too long. I got all my dents and dings fixed and primered today, so hopefully my car will be painted tomorrow (Friday). If not, Saturday for sure. BTW, I foudn out paint jobs are not 1800 anymore if you have a body kit. Its 300 extra to prep and fit the entire kit. But I think I can still get a hookup for you if you need it...I'll post with pics as soon as I get em...

I personally follow the get what you like technique, I mean it's your car, you might as well get stuff for it that you actually like. Express yourself through your car
