#75034, "3G Seats in a 2G"

I Just got a set of leather seats from a wrecked 2003 eclipse front and back and I would like to put them in my 97, The back seats fit but the front ones dont. Has anyone here put 3G front seats in 2G, If so how did you do it? Do I have to have some kind of adapter brackets made or use parts from the old seats? and also the new drivers seat is power and the old one is not is this hard to hook up? any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

there's this feature on this site call the search button. You should try it...trust me people like to get on each other for not using it. There was a right up about it a couple months ago.

If I happen to find it I'll post the link for it.

I dont have a pic of mine I put the old ones back until I figure out how to get the front ones in. but theres a pic on ebay right now of some 3G rear seats in a 97 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7910635465&category=33701&sspagename=WDVW

I thought that fronts wree going to be easy and the back would be hard to fit, but the back seats fit almost perfect. I guess I need to find someone that can fabricate brackets for me? anyone know of anyone in So Cal that dose that type of fabrication?
Thanks

3G interiors are BadA$$ IMO. Keep in mind that the interior is the same in the Stratus RT too so looks like we have more donor cars. Yippy!

Anyone figure our how to mount the front seats yet?

Someone emailed me and said the sliders from the 2G seats should fit on the 3G seats, but I dont think that would work, It shouldnt be that hard to modify them for someone with a little welding / metal fabrication skills. I am still lokkong for someone around my area that can help me out. I wiil post pics once i get it done.

I have a freinf with a 2003 GT and her seats are black with a blue insert. Did they also make them with a red insert? And hers are leather BTW.
