Hey there guys, I have my door handles shaved and i have a question. My buddy has an eclipse and wants his done as well. I was wondering where you can hide the actual solenoid? Inside the door, etc ? I'm not sure how mine are done because the body shop did mine for me. Any info, pics, etc would be much appreciated. thanks,

hey john, can you do me a favor? can you measure how tall your bomex front is? meaning, from the corner where it mounts to the fender, down to the bottom (in a vertical stright line of course). i think that bumper is too low for my car after looking at yours, because my car is alot lower. our cars are very similiar though. same hood, same skirts, soon to be same front end, same color, and i was considering a vert. door kit as well.
thanks

hey cyan, i will measure it for you tonight. LOL guys, read what my original message says, "I was wondering where you can hide the actual solenoid? Inside the door, etc ? I'm not sure how mine are done because the body shop did mine for me."
yeah i have the popper on the bottom of the door, but im not sure where inside the door the actual solinoid is placed. I have no problem getting into my car with my remotes. lol and yes i do roll my windows up! emoji

p.s. cyan, my car used to be REAL low when i had my 17's on, but now since the 19's came into play, i sit a little taller.

yeah your car is higher with 19s the only problem is youhave about 1.5" of clearance between your front tire and the fender. i on the other hand have -.5", meaning about a half inch of my front tires are tucked. and im on 19's too. so imagine your bomex front 2" lower. thats why i need a measurement because my front fender is only 18" off the ground if i remember my measurements correctly from a few nights ago. (take a look at the bottom right pic in my signature and youll see what i mean about the chassis being a lot lower)
